Navi Mumbai, November 2, 2025: The wait is finally over! India win have won their maiden ICC Women’s World Cup title, defeating South Africa by 7 wickets in a thrilling final at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Sunday.


India Clinch Historic First Women’s World Cup Title

Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India produced a clinical performance in both departments to chase down a stiff target of 280 runs with 7 wickets and 8 balls to spare.

Star batter Jemimah Rodrigues once again stole the show with a match-winning century (118 off 129 balls), following up her semi-final heroics against Australia.
She was named the Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament for her exceptional consistency throughout the competition.
